It's hard to understate the importance of maintaining the playability of your musical instrument. Over the years, I've seen so many guitars for sale or being given away that simply needed a routine setup and cleaning to be seen as valuable once again! Playing a properly setup guitar with new strings can make the difference between being excited about playing, and not wanting to pick up your guitar at all- so don't hesitate to email or call to make an appointment!

I will pick up your instrument, do the work, and drop if off at your home or place of business, typically within one to two days.

 

Pricing:

(all prices include the cost of new strings)

- steel string acoustic and electric guitar (no tremolo) restring: $25-$40

- nylon string acoustic guitar: $45

- Electric with tremolo: $50

- Acoustic and electric (no tremolo) setup/restring (new strings, lowered action,       faster and easier playability): $75

- Electric with tremolo setup/restring: $80

If a setup/repair requires any new parts including bridge saddle, nut, etc., the work will require a separate quote as the parts will raise the price.

 

Major luthier work including structural repairs, restorations, and rebuilds are available through Peter's outside luthier Gene Nygaard. All major repair services will be done on a per-job basis and will require a quote from the luthier before work is begun.
