It's hard to understate the importance of maintaining the playability of your musical instrument. Over the years, I've seen so many guitars for sale or being given away that simply needed a routine setup and cleaning to be seen as valuable once again! Playing a properly setup guitar with new strings can make the difference between being excited about playing, and not wanting to pick up your guitar at all- so don't hesitate to email or call to make an appointment!

I will pick up your instrument, do the work, and drop if off at your home or place of business, typically within one to two days.

 

Pricing:

(all prices include the cost of new strings)

- steel string acoustic and electric guitar restring: $25-$40

​

- nylon string acoustic guitar restring: $45

​

- electric with tremolo restring: $50

​

- acoustic and electric setup: $75

​

- electric with tremolo setup: $80

Terminology:

Restrings simply include a new set of strings installed as well as basic polishing/cleaning of the instrument. If the instrument has an active pickup system, the battery will be replaced. No other adjustments or changes will be made to the instrument.

Setups involve- to some extent- changing how the plays, feels, and sounds. This can involve adjusting the height of the nut, bridge/saddles, adjusting the truss rod (in the neck), replacing tuners and other hardware, etc. Most guitars need setup work at some point after they've been purchased- just like people go to the doctor for routine checkups!​
